Jonathan Regier

Jonathan Regier is a postdoctoral researcher in history and philosophy of science at Ghent University. Recent publications have focused on the mathematization of nature in the sixteenth century, particularly via cosmography and astronomy. He has also recently co-edited a book on early-modern concepts of space and spatiality (Springer, 2016). His research at UGent examines the interplay between medicine and wider natural philosophy in the sixteenth and early seventeenth-century Republic of Letters.
