Adam Hall is currently working as a PhD student at Ghent University under the direction of Jürgen Pieters and Sandro Jung. Adam attended Oberlin College and San Francisco State University in the United States. He also holds an MA in Renaissance Studies from University of Warwick, England. His work and teaching has spanned both a practical interest in Shakespeare for stage and film as well as the academic. His PhD work involves the exploration of metonymy as a rhetorical trope used by Shakespeare and the relationship this may have to practices outlined by both Foucault and Derrida.
