Eva Vandemeulebroucke is working as a PhD student at the Department of Literary Studies. She studied Dutch Linguistics and Literature at Ghent University. Her project focuses on the (changing) perceptions of authorship in vernacular literature in the late medieval Netherlands. Therefore she studies the opera omnia manuscripts of four Middle Dutch authors: Hadewijch (c. 1250?), Jan van Ruusbroec († 1381), Jan van Leeuwen († 1378) and Willem van Hildegaersberch († c. 1409).
