Lisette Blokker is currently working as an academic staff member at Ghent university. She studied history (BA) at the VU University Amsterdam and Medieval Studies (MA) at Utrecht University, where she also followed the history teacher education program (MA). She is working on a project which focuses on the ten commandments and the ideal of introspective individuation in the late Middle Ages, where she focuses on the period ca. 1400 – ca. 1550. Her fields of interests are medieval (vernacular) literature, as well as medieval religious and cultural history.
