Marta Bigus

Marta Bigus is a PhD student at the Department of Literary Studies. She studied Medieval Studies in Utrecht and Book History in London. In her current research project she investigates the role of the Ten Commandments in vernacular religious and moral teaching in late medieval/early modern (1300-1550) Low Countries.  Marta’s expertise lies mainly in the field of medieval vernacular theology, as well as codicology and palaeography.
