Ulrike Wuttke is associated with Ghent University as an independent postdoctoral researcher. She studied Dutch and English Philology at the Free University (Berlin) and the University of Amsterdam and Editorial Studies at the Free University. Her PhD-thesis (Ghent University) was entitled ‘Dit es dinde van goede en quade’: Eschatologie bei den Brabanter Autoren Jan van Boendale, Lodewijk van Velthem und Jan van Leeuwen (14. Jh.). It focused on individual and universal eschatology in medieval Dutch writings by three Brabant authors. She is currently preparing her thesis for publication with Brill. Research plans include the investigation different aspects of medieval and early modern vernacular prophetic writings, the reception of Elckerlijk, methodological approaches to medieval literature, and digital editorial practices.
